Spring birthday card

Hello and welcome to my blog. I feel happy because the weather is nice and Spring is here. Today I have a colourful card with butterflies and flowers.

Hola y bienvenidos a mi blog. Hoy estoy contenta porque el tiempo es bueno y la primavera ha llegado. Mi tarjeta es muy colorida con mariposas y flores.

I like stencils, and I've been using them a lot lately. In this card, I've used one with butterflies and flowers. I coloured it in yellow and orange. 

Me gustan los stencils, y los he usado bastante últimamente. En esta tarjeta he usado uno con mariposas y flores. Lo coloreé con amarillo y naranja.

Then I used a sparkling washi tape and sequins.   

Luego pegué una tira de washi tape brillante y unas lentejuelas.

Hola y bienvenidos a mi blog. Estado muy ocupada esto meses, pero por fin estoy de vuelta. Hoy tengo una tarjeta de San Valentín. Ya sé que es un poco tarde, pero...

I used a heart die. First I cut it in red and then in silver cardstock. I glued the heart in the pink cardstock and added the silver parts. 

Utilicé un troquel de corazón. Primero lo corté en cartulina roja, y luego en plateada. Pegué el corazón en una cartulina rosa y le añadí las partes plateadas.

Finally I added a red ribbon and a big red sequin. I really liked the result. I hope you like it. See you next time.

Finalmente añadí el lazo rojo y una gran lentejuela roja. Me gustó mucho el resultado. Espero que a vosotros también. Hasta la próxima.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

Hola y bienvenidos a mi blog. Hoy quiero desearos a todos un Feliz Año Nuevo.

The cards I have here are the Christmas cards for my family and friends.

Las tarjetas que tengo hoy son las tarjetas de felicitación para  mi familia y amigos.

I used almost the same design for all of the cards. Different patterned papers and a tag with the sentiments. I used the stamps and papers from Tonic Studios.

Utilicé casi el mismo diseño para todas las tarjetas. Diferentes papeles decorados y unas etiquetas con el mensaje navideño. Utilicé los sellos y los papeles de Tonic Studios.

I also added a red and white baker's twine to the tags, and glued them to the card front.

También añadí un trozo de cuerda blanca y roja a las etiquetas, y las pegué en cada una de las tarjetas.

I changed the design for this one. I used a Christmas tree and a smaller tag. I also used a yellow background to give it a little more light.

Cambié el diseño de esta última. Utilicé un árbol de navidad y una etiqueta más pequeña. También le puse  un fondo amarillo para darle algo más de luz.

A surprise card

Hello and welcome to my blog. It's been a long time since I blog something, but I've been very busy this months.

But now I have a new card. This card is a bit surprising. I got the idea from a Jennifer McGuire's video

Hola y bienvenidos a mi blog. Hacía mucho tiempo que no escribía algo, pero es que he estado bastante ocupada con el trabajo estos meses.

Pero hoy he traído una tarjeta nueva. Es bastante sorprendente. Tomé la idea de un vídeo de Jennifer McGuire.

When you see the card, it is like any other card. I just used inks to make the background and a circle with the sentiment. I used a circle from the inside of the card. You'll see.

Cuando ves la tarjeta, es como cualquier otra tarjeta. Utilicé tintas para hacer el fondo y un círculo con el mensaje. Usé un círculo que corté del interior de la tarjeta. Ahora veréis.

So, when you open the card, it is a surprise!!  I has two layers, front and back, and the images are in both places.

Así que cuando abres la tarjeta, ves la sorpresa!! Hay dos zonas, inferior y superior, con imágenes diferentes.

It is a little box. The card has dimension and it is really easy to do. Here is the video I used as inspiration.

So, the card is very simple, but the surprise is inside. 

Es una pequeña caja. La tarjeta tiene dimensión y es muy fácil de hacer. Este es el vídeo que usé de inspiración.

La tarjeta es muy sencilla, pero la sorpresa está en el interior.

Beautiful butterflies

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I have a very happy card. I made it in spring, and that's why it is so bright and has butterflies on it.

Hola y bienvenidos a mi blog. Hoy tengo una tarjeta alegre. La hice esta primavera, y por eso es tan brillante y tiene mariposas.

I used a watercolour background. I really liked the combination of colours. Then I cut this beautiful butterflies die in pink. And finally I added a piece of lace.

Utilicé un fondo hecho con acuarelas. Me gustó mucho la combinación de colores. Luego corté este bonito troquel de mariposas en una cartulina rosa. Y por último le puse un trozo de cinta de encaje.

Stencils and ink

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I made two cards using two stencils and different colours, but the same technique.

Hola y bienvenidos a mi blog. Hoy tengo dos tarjetas que hice usando dos stencils, diferentes colores, pero con la misma técnica.

In this card, I used peacock feathers disstress ink for the flower in the stencil and for the background.

Para esta primera tarjeta utilicé tonos azules con el stencil, marcando más el color en la flor y rellenando el fondo con el mismo color más suave.

Then I added the sequins and the sentiment.

Luego puse las lentejuelas y el mensaje.

In the second card I used a different colour combination, pink, orange and yellow.

En la segunda tarjeta utilicé una combinación de colores diferente, rosa, naranja y amarillo.

I used a different stencil. This card was for my sister's 50th birthday. She really loved it.

Utilicé un stencil diferente. Esta tarjeta la hice para mi hermana por su 50 cumpleaños. Le gustó mucho.

Summer sunset

Hello and welcome to my blog. The card I made today is a very simple one. I just used inks and stamps.

Hola y bienvenidos a mi blog. La tarjeta de hoy es muy sencilla. Es una tarjeta hecha con tinta y sellos en la misma tarjeta.

I used disstres inks in the background masking the upper and lower borders. I was inspired by the sunset. Then I stamped the butterfly, the flowers and the sentiment.

Usé tintas disstres en el fondo colocando un papel en la parte de arriba y abajo para hacer líneas rectas. Luego puse la mariposa, las flores y el mensaje.
