Colourful birthday card

Hello and welcome to my blog. I have a very bright and colourful card today. I made it for my brother on his birthday, and I think he liked it a lot.

Hola y bienvenidos a mi blog. La tarjeta de hoy es muy brillante y colorida. La hice para mi hermano en su cumpleaños, y creo que le gusto mucho.

I used two different patterned papers. I chose them because they made me feel happy. Then I added two different ribbons, one narrower than the other, and made a bow.

Usé dos papeles decorados diferentes. Los elegí porque me parecieron muy alegres. Luego añadí dos lazos diferentes, uno más estrecho que el otro, y le hice un lazo.

Flowers in Spring

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I have two cards. They are very colourful and bright. I used sparkling patterned papers to make them.

Hola y bienvenidos a mi blog. Hoy tengo dos tarjetas. Son muy coloridas y brillantes. Utilicé un papel decorado con brillos para hacerlas.







In the first one, I cut the patterned paper to fit the card. Then I added the ribbon on the top part, and that was all.

En la primera corté el papel decorado al tamaño de la tarjeta. Luego le puse el lacito, y ya está.

In the second card, I did the same, but instead of ribbon, I used silver thread. I wrapped the thread around the card several times, and added a tag with hearts on the bottom of the card. 

Para la segunda, hice lo mismo, pero en vez de lazo, utilicé un cordoncillo plateado que enrollé varias veces alrededor de la tarjeta. Luego le puse una etiqueta con corazones en la parte de abajo.

I participate in the Paper Craft Crew Challenge of the week. I've chosen the last three items across: wedding, flowers and ribbon.

A very simple pink card

Hello and welcome to my blog. The card I have today is a very simple card. I made it with just one color and a flower.

Hola y bienvenidos a mi blog. La tarjeta de hoy es muy sencilla. La hice usando un solo color y una flor.

I only used pink for the background. I used acrylic paint. This one is shiny, so it gives a sparkling look to the card. I think you can't appreciate it in the photo.

Solo utilicé rosa para el fondo. Usé pintura acrílica. La que tengo tiene brillo, así que le da un look muy brillante a la tarjeta. Creo que no se aprecia bien en la foto.

Then I used a little flower and a leave. And that was all. 

Luego le puse una flor y una hoja. Y eso es todo.

But I had a little problem with the edges. The paint made them curled a bit.

Pero tuve un problema con los bordes. La pintura hizo que se curvaran un poco.

A very simple card

Hello and welcome to my blog. The card I made today is a very simple card. I was looking at the different challenges I participate and I found the inspiration for the card. It is more simple than the card I use to do. But I liked the final result.

Hola y bienvenidos a mi blog. La tarjeta de hoy es muy sencilla. Estaba mirando los diferentes retos en los que participo de vez en cuando, y encontré la inspiración para la tarjeta de hoy. Es mucho más sencilla que las tarjetas que suelo hacer. Pero me gustó el resultado final.

I used sprays to make the background. Then I stamped the music and cut out a butterfly.

Usé sprays para el fondo. Luego usé un sello de música y recorté una mariposa.

Finally I cut out the word happy in silver paper and glued it to the card.

Por último recorté la palabra happy en papel plateado y lo pegué en la tarjeta.

Spring card

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today the card is all green. I made it for my brother in law's birthday. And I also participate in a challenge with it.

Hola y bienvenidos a mi blog. Hoy la tarjeta es toda verde. La hice para mi cuñado por su cumpleaños. También participo en un reto con ella.

I just used different patterned papers for the different layers. Then I used a ribbon, a heart and some leaves to decorate it.

Usé diferentes papeles de corados para las diferentes capas. Luego puse un lazo, un corazón y algunas hojas para decorarla.

Happy Birthday, mum!!

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I have the card I made for my mother on her birthday. It has flowers in it.

Hola y bienvenidos a mi blog. Hoy tengo la tarjeta que hice a mi madre en su cumpleaños. Está llena de flores.

I stamped the flowers in the card, and then I cut the edge following the stamps.Then I glued some sequins, and added a stripe of golden ribbon.

Estampé unas flores en la tarjeta, y luego corté el borde siguiendo las líneas de los sellos. Luego pegué unas cuantas lentejuelas, y añadí una tira de lazo dorado.

Is it a dinosaur??

Hello and welcome to my blog. The card I have today is one I made for my son on his birthday. He wanted a dinosaur in his card, but I only found this little dragon. I think it is so cute, isn't it?

Hola y bienvenidos a mi blog. La tarjeta que tengo hoy es una que hice para el cumpleaños de mi hijo. Él quería un dinosaurio en su tarjeta, pero solo pude encontrar este pequeño dragón. Yo creo que es muy mono, verdad?

I made a circle in the card and used a plastic to cover it, so I could see through it. Then I glued the little dragon on top of the plastic, and put the yellow panel to cover the plastic.  

Hice un círculo en la tarjeta y usé un plástico para tapar el agujero, pero que pudiera ver a través de él. Luego pegué el dragoncito en el plástico y puse la cartulina amarilla encima para tapar el plástico.

Inside the card I glued a flower and some leaves to cover the background. I used blue and orange ribbon to give it a touch of colour.

Dentro puse una florecita y unas hojas para completar el fondo. Por fuera utilicé unas cintas azul y naranja para darle un toque de color.
