No traditional Christmas cards

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I have my first Christmas cards of the year. I made three different cards using the same materials, but with different colours. I also participate in My Time to Craft challenge.

Hola y bienvenidos a mi blog. Hoy tengo las primeras tarjetas navideñas del año. Hice tres tarjetas diferentes usando los mismos materiales, pero con colores diferentes. También participo en el reto de My Time to Craft.

I made the three cards using a panel of watercolour paper. I heat embossed the snowflakes with white embossing powder. Then I used gelatos and water to colour them.

Hice las tarjetas usando papel de acuarela. Con la pistola de calor hice los copos de nieve con polvos blancos de embossing. Luego utilicé gelatos y agua para colorearlos.

I made one in blue.

Hice una azul.

I made another one in purple.

Hice otra morada.

And a pink one to finish.

Y la última rosa.

 

I printed the sentiments and glued them to the card front.

Los mensajes están impresos de la impresora y pegados en las tarjetas.

Daisies in a card

Hello and welcome to my blog. The card for today is green and has flowers. I know we are almost in Christmas, but I haven't started my Christmas cards yet.

Hola y bienvenidos a mi blog. La tarjeta de hoy es verde y con flores. Ya sé que estamos casi en Navidad, pero todavía no he empezado con mis tarjetas navideñas.

I used different patterned papers in the background. I also used a watercolored paper and I stamped the daisies in vellum. I added a ribbon and that was all.

Utilicé diferentes papeles decorados para el fondo. Usé también un poco de papel pintado con acuarelas y estampé las margaritas en papel cebolla. Luego añadí un lazo y eso es todo.

Riding a bike for fun

Hello and welcome to my blog. The card I have today is a birthday card I made for my brother in law. He likes riding a bike, so it was very easy to choose the main element of the card.

Hola y bienvenidos a mi blog. La tarjeta de hoy es una que hice para el cumpleaños de mi cuñado. Le gusta mucho montar en bicicleta, así que fue muy fácil elegir el elemento principal para la tarjeta.

I used a watercolour background and then added the little bicycle.

Usé un fondo hecho con acuarelas y añadí la bicicleta.

I also participate in the challenge of Just Us Girls for this week. I used a metallic arrow.

También participo en el reto de Just Us Girls de esta semana. Usé una flecha metalizada.

Romantic birthday card

Hello and welcome to my blog. The card for today is a very romantic and pink card. I made it for my sister in law's birthday. I also participate in the Paper Craft Crew Challenge with the card.

Hola y bienvenidos a mi blog. La tarjeta de hoy es romántica y rosa. La hice para el cumpleaños de mi cuñada. También participo en el reto de Paper Craft Crew.

I tried to follow the sketch for the challenge. I used patterned paper for the background and an embossed stripe of red paper. I stamped dots in the card and added an embossed circle in the middle.

He intentado seguir el sketch del reto. Usé papel decorado para el fondo y una tira de papel rojo con relieve. Luego estampé unos puntitos en la tarjeta y añadí un círculo con relieve en el centro.

Then I added a gold heart and the sentiment. And that was all.

Luego puse un corazón dorado y la palabra Love. Y eso fue todo.

Birthdays and birds

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I have a card I made for one of my friends on her birthday.

Hola y bienvenidos a mi blog. Hoy tengo una tarjeta que hice para el cumpleaños de una amiga.

I choose a funny and colourful paper for the background. I used die to cut out the letters to say HAPPY DAY, and stick it to the card. I added three red sequins to give it a little shine.

Elegí un papel colorido y divertido para el fondo. Utilicé un abecedario para cortar las letras del mensaje, y lo pegué todo a la tarjeta. Le puse tres lentejuelas rojas para darle algo de brillo.

Sailing, sailing

Hello and welcome to my blog. The card I have for today is one I made for my niece on her birthday. She doesn't like pink or girly colours, so that card was perfect for her.

Hola y bienvenidos a mi blog. La tarjeta de hoy es una que hice para el cumpleaños de mi sobrina. No le gusta el rosa ni los colores de chicas, así que esta tarjeta fue perfecta para ella.

I used a patterned paper for the background, and I cut out a boat to stick it on top.

Usé un papel decorado para el fondo, y corté un barco que pegué encima.

Monster gift card

Hello and welcome to my blog. The card I have today is one I did to give money to a boy on his birthday.

Hola y bienvenidos a mi blog. La tarjeta que tengo hoy es una que hice para un niño para regalarle dinero en su cumpleaños.

I chose a colourful paper full of monsters. For the background, I used the stamp from the SSS April card kit.

Elegí un papel de monstruos muy colorido. Para el fondo usé el sello que venía en el SSS card kit de abril, que ya he usado en otros posts.

And in the inside I put a stripe of the same patterned paper to introduce a little envelope with the money. And that was all.

Y en el interior puse otra tira del mismo papel de monstruos para meter un pequeño sobre con el dinero. Y eso fue todo.
