A very simple card

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I have a very, very simple card. I have made it for a challenge. I think is the most simple card I've ever made.

Hola y bienvenidos a mi blog. Hoy tengo una tarjeta muy muy sencilla. La he hecho para un reto. Creo que es la tarjeta más sencilla que he hecho nunca.

I just used a stripe of vellum to embossed a flower with some embossing paste tinted with gelatos. Then I cut the sentiment in silver glitter paper and glued it to the vellum.

Simplemente puse una tira de papel cebolla y usé pasta de embossing para hacer la flor coloreándola con gelatos. Luego corté las palabras en papel plateado brillante y lo pegué.

And that was all. Very simple. Just for the challenge.

Y eso es todo. Muy sencilla. Para el reto.

Little Christmas round cards

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I have a bunch of round cards I made for some friends. They were funny to make and very easy.

Hola y bienvenidos a mi blog. Hoy tengo un montón de tarjetas redondas que hice para unas amigas. Son divertidas y muy fáciles de hacer.

I just cut circles in red cardstock. Then I cut smaller circles in patterned papers and cut them in half. I glued a stripe of sparkling paper and a red little stripe in the center of each circle.

Corté círculos en cartulina roja. Luego corté círculos más pequeños de papeles decorados y los corté por la mitad. Pegué unas tiras de papel brillante y otras rojas en el medio de cada círculo.

To decorate them I cut some snowflakes in silver and red and glued them in the circles.

Para decorarlos corté unos copos de nieve en cartulina plateada y roja y los pegué en los círculos.

Then I put little bows in the cards with a sequin. And I wrote Merry Christmas! in the cards. 

Además puse unos pequeños lazos a un lado con una lentejuela. Y escribí ¡Feliz Navidad! en cada uno de ellos. Le puse un pequeño cordel por si querían colgarlo del árbol...

The first challenge of the year

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I am participating in the first challenge of the year. It is in the Curtain Call blog.

Hola y bienvenidos a mi blog. Hoy participo en el primer reto del año. Es el reto de Curtain Call.

The challenge is FROZEN. So I have used a snowflakes die to cut out several of them in golden glitter paper. I added a stripe of red glitter paper and some Heidi Swap golden shine.

El reto es sobre HELADO. Así que usé un troquel de copos de nieve para cortar algunos en papel dorado brillante. También añadí una tira roja de papel brillante y algo de Heidi Swap golden shine.

Happy New Year and a card

Happy New Year to you all. Welcome to my blog. Today I am posting a card very similar to the previous one, but with a different patterned paper and a sentiment.

Feliz Año Nuevo para todo el mundo. Bienvenidos a mi blog. Hoy tengo una tarjeta muy parecida a la que está en el post anterior, pero con un papel diferente y el mensaje en el frente.

I also embossed with gold embossing powder and added a little stripe of green paper instead of a ribbon. I put three red sequins on top. 

También usé los polvos de embossing dorados y puse una tira de papel verde en vez de un lazo. Pegué tres lentejuelas rojas encima.

Christmas card with gold embossing

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I have a new Christmas card. I made this to send to a friend.

Hola y bienvenidos a mi blog. Hoy tengo una nueva tarjeta de Navidad. Hice esta para enviársela a una amiga.

I used patterned paper for the background. Then I heat embossed the red cardstock with gold powder and add a ribbon and some sequins. And that was all.

Usé papel decorado para el fondo. Usé polvos de embossing dorados para hacer la parte de abajo sobre cartulina roja. Añadí un lazo y unas lentejuelas y eso fue todo.

Lots of Christmas Cards at the same time

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I have a group of Christmas Cards I made for my friends and family. I made them all at the same time using the same sketch but different techniques.

Hola y bienvenidos a mi blog. Hoy tengo un grupo de tarjetas de Navidad que hice para amigos y familia. Las hice todas a la vez usando el mismo sketch pero diferentes técnicas.

I made eight cards at the same time and with little variations.

Hice ocho tarjetas a la vez con pequeñas variaciones.

In the first card I choose blue. I used a blue cardstock and I cut it diagonally, so I got what I needed for two cards. Using a stencil with snowflakes, I put white embossing paste on the blue cardstock. Then I glued a stripe of glitter cardstock in the middle and I put a little banner with a sequin. I printed the sentiment.

En esta primera elegí el color azul. Usé una cartulina azul y cortándola en diagonal obtuve lo que necesitaba para dos tarjetas. Utilizando un stencil de copos de nieve puse pasta de relieve blanca encima. Luego pegué una pequeña tira de cartulina brillante en el centro y puse una etiqueta impresa con el mensaje de Navidad.

I used green for the rest of the cards. In the second card I did the same thing as in the previous card, but I used white acrilic paint instead of embossing paste.

Usé cartulina verde para el resto de las tarjetas. En esta segunda hice lo mismo que en la primera, pero usé pintura acrílica blanca en vez de pasta de relieve.

For the third card I put the stencil and then I sprayed it with Heidi Swapp color shine in gold. It gave the card a lot of shimer.

Para la tercera tarjeta puse el stencil y usé el spray de Heidi Swapp color shine dorado. Le dió un montón de brillo a las tarjetas.

And these are the best of all. I also used the embossing paste, but they turned really well. Those were my favourite of all.

Y estas son las mejores. También usé la pasta de relieve, pero quedaron muy bien definidos los copos de nieve. Estas son mis favoritas de todas las que hice.

And I made two of each in very little time. Which one do you prefer? I also participate in the CASology challenge of the week.

First Christmas Card of the year

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I am posting the first Christmas card I've made this year.

Hola y bienvenidos a mi blog. Hoy traigo la primera tarjeta de navidad que he hecho este año.

I made it with a round mask to stamp all the snowflakes and then used Distress inks to make the blue background.

La hice utilizando un círculo para estampar los copos de nieve y luego usé Distress inks para colorear el fondo en azul.

I sent this card to Kristina Werner. Every month she has a mail call. She gives a theme and as she receives the cards, she makes a video showing them. My card is in the 13:23 minute. And this is her blog where you can also see the video: http://www.kwernerdesign.com/blog/?p=15295
