Boy birthday card. Ships and pirates.

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I have the card I made for my son on his birthday. He likes ships and pirates, of course, so I put both things in his card.

Hola y bienvenidos a mi blog. Hoy traigo la tarjeta que hice para mi hijo en su cumpleaños. Le gustan mucho los barcos y los piratas, por supuesto, así que puse las dos cosas en su tarjeta.

 

 

 

In the outside of the card there's a ship hunging from a circle. On the inside we can see a pirate.

 

Por fuera de la tarjeta hay un barco que cuelga del centro de un círculo. Dentro se ve un pirata asomándose.

 

 

Inside the card there's a pirate in the sea, and a bunch of balloons.

 

Dentro está el pirata en el mar, con un montón de globos.

I like the yellow very much, and I've used glitter on the frosting and the cherry, though it's a bit tough to see.

 

Me gusta mucho el color amarillo, y aunque no se aprecia bien, le he puesto brillo al frosting y a la cereza.

Stars birthday card

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I have a card I made for my father's birthday. It's full of stars and clouds.

Hola y bienvenidos a mi blog. Hoy traigo una tarjeta de cumpleaños que hice para mi padre. Está llena de estrellas y nubes.

 

Outside there are clouds and stars made with embossing. As you open the card, there are more stars on the inside.

 

Por fuera hay nubes y unas estrellas hechas con embossing. Al abrir la tarjeta, se muestran más estrellas dentro.



 

 

I used a partial cut to make the opening of the card. There are lots of videos in YouTube showing the technique.

 

Utilicé un corte parcial para hacer la apertura de la tarjeta. Hay mucho vídeos en YouTube que muestran la técnica.

Embossed birthday card

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I have a card I made for a friend on her birthday, but at the same time I participate in the Virginia's View Challenge. It's about embossing.

Hola y bienvenidos a mi blog. Hoy tengo una tarjeta que hice para el cumpleaños de una amiga, pero a la vez participo con ella en el Virginia's View Challenge. Se trata de hacer algo con embossing.

 

I've used black embossing powder on a black cardstock, added a little colour behind the vellum and embossed the vellum with the same flower in black powder. Then two sequins and bow.

Usé polvos de embossing negros sobre cartulina negra. Añadí algo de color debajo del papel cebolla y usé los mismos polvos negros sobre el papel. Puse dos lentejuelas y un lacito, y ya está.
